Since I adore Matthew Macfadyen as an actor (he played John Birt), can you tell me about his role, and his performance?
Will MM garner any attention for his efforts?
There is a scene where John Birt runs butt-naked into the ocean once he knows that the interview was a success. Can you give any details about that scene? Lots of inquiring minds want to know as much about that scene as possible! Also, can you tell from the surroundings where it was filmed?

The beach scene....hmmmmm....STUNNING!!! !! It was very fleeting and shot a little too far away for my liking, I would have preferred a close up shot :) Even so, you will not be disappointed, round and muscular....ummmmmm!

How was the actor Matthew Macfadyen who played John Birt? He had a scene that was particluarly interesting...can you tell us more?

Oh, wait, I just had a thought about what scene you might be talking about! Are you referring to his nude scene?? It's a shot of him running into the ocean naked. It's shot from behind, so you can see the entire rear of his body. Unfortunately it only lasts a few seconds. You see him run into the ocean, fall in the waves, and that's it. There is enough time, however, to catch a good glimpse of his rear end (which is very, very pale)!

........and I suspect a DVD zoom might reveal some freckles! Ah, those Scottish genes........
